Import and Export Issues

Some officials from the Division have had good opportunities to visit and learn first-hand about the import control system in recognized countries, such as the U.S.A, Australia , and some countries in the European Union. In addition, meetings with officials from neighboring countries have occasionally been held. Moreover, some inspectors were assigned to parti-cipate in international meetings on particular issues, such as the conference on Codex Committee on Food Import and Export Inspection and Certi-fication Systems held in Australia .
